 The use of water-based lubricants is also recommended to avoid discomfort, which can help the male genitals move through the vagina without damaging the vaginal walls. Providing adequate water will help a lot.

When estrogen levels in your body are steadily declining and frequent sex and artificial lubricants do not relieve the dryness, many herbs can be of great help. Black cohosh, bilberry, maca, damiana, licorice, ginkgo biloba are some herbs that are used to treat menopausal vaginal dryness. 

These herbs are available as dietary supplements in capsule and powder forms, and can also be used in any convenient way in organic form. Medications should be avoided, however, as few of these herbs are very potent and their dosage should be determined by an expert before use.
