Ways of Taking Harmonal Replacement Therapy in Dubai ?

HRT replaces hormones that a woman's body stops producing due to menopause.

Types of HRT are

Estrogens - types used include estradiol, estrone and estriol

Progestins -

a synthetic version of the hormone progesterone (such as dydrogesterone, medroxyprogesterone, norethisterone and levonorgestrel) or a micronized version called progesterone (sometimes referred to as body-identical or natural), which is chemically identical to the human hormone

HRT involves taking both (combined HRT) or taking the estrogen alone (estrogen-only HRT).

Estrogen

only therapy is generally only recommended when the uterus has been removed during a hysterectomy. Your HRT schedule will depend on whether you are in the early stages of menopause or have had menopausal symptoms for some time.

The two types of processes are cyclic (or sequential) DBS and continuous combined DBS.

Cyclic HRT

Cyclic Harmonal replacement Therapy in Duabi, also known as sequential HRT, is often recommended for women on combination HRT who have menopausal symptoms but are still having their periods. HRT is generally recommended for women with regular periods.

HRT every 3 months is usually recommended for women with irregular periods. You should have your period every 3 months.

It's helpful to keep your periods regular so you know when they'll naturally stop and when you're likely to reach the final stages of menopause.

Continuous combined HRT

Continuous combined HRT is generally recommended for postmenopausal women. A woman is usually said to be going through the menopause when she has not had a menstrual period for 1 year.

Continuous combined hormone replacement therapy consists of daily intake of estrogens and progestins without interruption.

Estrogen-only HRT is usually taken every day without a break.
